What We Did

Christian Rock Band AfterGlow Sky had an amazing tale of faith, recovery, and love to tell their audiences.  But, as a local band, they had yet to break out to reach the larger pool of Christian Rock bands. dRAE Media & Marketing helped put this husband-wife duo on the music industry map through a series of focused social media campaigns and professionally edited videos.  First, dRAE helped the duo rebuild their existing website in order to offer their fans more information about the group. This included links to YouTube videos, the iTunes store, Google Play store, Amazon listing page, Facebook, Instagram and other social media accounts.  dRAE also helped the band create music videos using local professional videographers, and assisted in aggressively marketing these videos through a variety of social channels.  Through a series of targeted social media campaigns, dRAE was able to successfully market the band to Christian Rock radio stations and publications, resulting in numerous feature stories, radio and TV interviews, and increased airplay on stations throughout the country.  Since dRAE’s involvement, the band’s followers on social media have gone from a small amount of followers to more than 18,000 followers on YouTube alone. dRAE has also assisted the group in finding a key market on Facebook, where the group has over 6600 followers and numerous posts with active engagement of 1000+ likes. Recently, dRAE arranged for the band to play at the Christian Cross Festival in Nebraska, accompanying Seventh Time Down and opening the doors to increased exposure and a larger fanbase.
